This little known and growing historical museum is home to so much history it is hard to describe. The main attractions are; a hall displaying the history of radio and broadcasting, a seperate hall showcasing the history of computers and a third hall with military vehicles. There are also lovingly made dioramas and displays about 9/11, the era of bomb shelters, and world wars.
Call ahead if there is something specific you really want to see. When we visited, the military vehicle building was closed due to a lack of heat. There is a lot for young children (maybe 4+) to see and do. The halls were all staffed by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. Read moreAmazing! The staff are really here for you and are ready to spend hours answering whatever questions you have, no matter how long it takes or how technical it gets. A treasure trove of knowledge is here... Physics, chemistry, history.. It is all here. The staff are super excited to help you and explain everything. For those of you who like a trully educating experience instead of just looking through a bunch of displays that you don't understand... This is the place for you. If you are ready to ask questions, then there is way more than you can pick up here than in one visit. The museum is very well staffed and is well worth the seven dollar adult ticket... Super cheap for the education that they are here to provide for you. I'm really talking about the vintage radio and television museum and the shipwreck museum. We didn't meet any staff by the history sections in the...

Price is an amazing $5 per person. Hours are currently limited to Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays 1-5 pm.

The advertised model train room was temporarily closed. Call before expecting...
