Dunham Cellars — Attraction in Walla Walla

We prefer to travel spontaneously, so it was perfect when were able to book quickly and last-minute online. The wine was spectacular, and the selection meant everyone managed to find a favorite. Our wine-country resident AND our botique-wine-store-emoloyee were more than pleased!

The staff were super-friendly 🙂 and did a fabulous job of guiding the tasting with all kinds of fun info about their history and particular practices.

The seating area was calm and quiet and delightful, and my kiddos were super excited that the resident pupper 🐕 was such an eager buddy.

(The tasting fee wasn't waived with purchase, which was a bit of a shame because we would have been able to reach any threshold necessary...

Kinda stumbled upon The Airport District and it’s anchor winery, Dunham cellars, on our search for the perfect Syrah. Was delighted by the picturesque grounds and the WWll airplane hanger turned tasting room. So much to take in! Really interesting venue and story. Oh, and the wine! Their Syrah is delicious with the perfect bite of spice! We grabbed a few to add to our collection. Everyone we met here was fun and so knowledgeable. They made our experience very enjoyable. Stayed one night at Dunham Cellars as a Harvest Host guest. Setting up the stay reservation was easy to do. The location is far enough off of the highway to be very quiet, while also close to the airport. The ground is pretty flat and easy to get level. Another perk is the walking proximity to Walla Walla Roasters coffee shop who have great coffee and pastries. Dunham is a great Walla Walla winery. Good wines and a comfortable and spacious tasting room. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Overall, another fun visit. And took home some tasty...
