From beginning to the end, their service was flawless! Initially, I called to set up an appointment for my dryer to be repaired. I did not have the model # nor serial # for the dryer(it had been worn off by previous owners). The lovely woman who set my appointment put in a call to see if Greg(the owner?)could fix it w/o this info. She then called me back to say that the next available date was filling up, and I should make an appointment soon. DONE! Greg then called me the next morning and asked me to send photos of my broken dryer. He said he could probably identify what this issue was based on the pictures. Great! The next day I received a call that they could move up my appointment up one day. Perfect! Greg showed up(on time-with a phone call first, letting me know he was going to be here in about 25 mins.), and replaced all the parts my very broken needed. In less than one hour! Amazing! Thank you Greg and your staff for making this so easy. You were my 3rd attempt to get this fixed without a model # and serial #. I will request Tompkins Appliance Services from my warranty company the next time I have an appliance that is out...

I’m extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism from Tompkins Appliance. I had a scheduled appointment for appliance service, and less than 24 hours before it was supposed to happen, they cancelled via email—no phone call, and no attempt to reschedule.

This last-minute cancellation was not only inconvenient, but it also shows a complete lack of respect for my time. I had taken time off and rearranged my schedule around this appointment, only to be left hanging.

Communication is a basic part of customer service, and Tompkins Appliance failed miserably. If this is how they handle appointments, I can only imagine the quality of their actual service. The Walla Walla Valley is a small place with limited resources and I truly believe Tompkins Appliance is aware of this.
