UPDATE: after my review Revelry promptly responded to my review through this platform and also via email. They refunded our tasting fees and invited us back for another tasting appointment so they could make it right. Their response was very prompt and kind. It’s clearly important to them to make sure their customers have an an enjoyable experience. We’ll be happy to come back and give them another try the next time we are in town. Original Review: I was really excited to try this place with all the great reviews and experiences people have shared on here but unfortunately for us it didn’t live up. I had made a reservation a week in advance and pre-paid two $20 tasting fees. When we walked in we were offered a table outside or a table in the library room. It was over 95 degrees outside which is too hot for us to sit outside so we chose the library room. The library room is a glass cellar under the stairs which is nice in theory but the layout was really a bummer for us. The seats are next to each other facing out with this huge saddle in the middle that makes it really hard to see the person your sitting next to. I had to sit on the front edge of my chair the whole time to be able to have a conversation with my husband. The table directly outside the door was a large group of ladies that were so loud we could hardly hear our own conversation or our hosts when they were talking us through the wine. We had a different person for every pour, they were all friendly, but it was hard to build rapport and get to know the place with so many people involved. We both left feeling like we were just an after thought here. Had we just walked in with no appointment I could understand but we had an advanced reservation that was pre-paid.

Went on a wine tasting trip and this was the best- the host, the wine, the overall ambiance. None could be beat. Ask for Meg!

"Terra" from the team said "it's very male to not confirm a reservation." I felt extremely sad that a staff from this winery would say something like this to someone visiting for the first time. For context, I tried to make a last minute reservation via email but ended up walking in last minute. This winery takes lawn reservations through phone - when I tried to confirm via email the thread ended at confirming my phone number and last name. Because I didn't fully confirm, I was treated with disrespect. After she said that comment, there was no apology, and she asked another staff member to work with us. Though I was communicating with Terra the whole time via email, she quickly blamed another male staff on the miscommunication. My assumption is that's where the "male" comment came from. We didn't hear from Terra again while we were there. There's an opportunity for this winery to streamline their booking process and respect new customers. Because of the service, I likely will not be returning. However the wine...

The first minute we approached the door it was opened and we were greeted with, yes, a glass of Rose wine. We chose a location outside because the temperature was a perfect 72 degrees Fahrenheit and clouds were displaying the most unbelievable arial portrait. Promptly we were presented with wine glasses and the best printed descriptions imaginable for our personal tasting. We soon realized Dalton was prepared to continue with white and then red wines in a pleasantly orchestrated but informative and timely manner. Rushed tasting you say, never. Every question was answered without hesitation but with knowledgeable brilliance. We discussed the wine, the vineyards, nose, finish and labels. Then we were allowed to sip joyfully in a cozy but unassuming manner. We did revisit wines we preferred. Should we return to the area we will bring friends. This is the highest...
