Mt. SAC-Randall Planetarium has an inside look at the outside world, outside of our world! State of the art projection is aimed onto a 360° concave screen, with views that could knock me off my feet! While my iPhone 15 Pro Max is also state of the art, it won’t capture night sky images accurately and as it is with the peripheral view of the eyes, thus is unable to fit a flat square in a deep dimensionally rounded view. It will however take dim light photos with daylight scenes. So photo’s I’ve taken inside the dome will give an idea what it’s like inside, as it was in preparation for a meditational session with terrestrial scenes, before the stars came out. There’s exhibits around the circular room depicting awesome images that are out of this world, both figuratively and literally! Read moreBooked my daughter's 5th birthday here and it was the best experience! The lobby was set up with tables and chairs and decorated. The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative. We watched the Secret of the Cardboard Box and then kids and adults alike made their own rockets. So much fun! Everybody enjoyed their turn to catch the rockets! Didn't even have to worry about clean-up cause that was included! Really, the best!

Read moreCame here to celebrate my cousins bday and my kids had so much fun. The cool part was that you could make your own rocket, and able to launch it. It was awesome. Staff was so helpful and patient with the little ones. We will be back! Thank you Mt.Sac Randall Planetarium!!
