mexican food has become such an important cultural staple of America that it has inevitably also become extremely commodified, like Chinese food or burgers. You want a plate of tacos, or maybe a simple cheeseburger with fries, or even a box of chow mein and orange chicken? Well you can find those things anywhere in any American city. And they’ll probably be sold to you at exorbitant prices by someone whos getting paid minimum wage, wearing a stupid shirt that says “Ask Me About the Limited Time Chili Fries!” and microwaves most of the food anyways.
I dont claim to know everything in this world. All i know is that when i want good food, i want the person making it to be truly happy with their life and to be appropriately paid. And to anyone who says it doesnt make a difference, eat a fish taco from Jack in the Box and count how long it takes for you to have a terrible bowel movement. Preferably count in seconds.
If you want to see true Americans be truly happy, come here at noontime on a Friday during Lent and see all the Filipinos, Mexicans, Asian nationals, African americans, and the occasional white person come here and wait in a huge long line that snakes out the door. They know its worth the wait. And everyone is waiting with a satisfied look...
Read moreGreat taste! Their ingredients are super fresh always. I usually dont get sour cream on my Mexican food but they have Special sour cream and it's so bomb with and freshly made tomato salsa and finely chopped cabbage. I really recommend this place. Their shrimp taco is just so bomb... I can't recommend more. My friends who had shrimp tacos here after my recommendation became a big fan of this restaurant as well.
The staffs are nice and I've only been to one of their bathroom so I don't know about the other side but the one I went was clean. So I assume the other one will also be. haha
Only thing I have problem with them will be that it is a little more expensive than regular tacos. But I can full with 2 tacos which will be about 5~6 dollars but it can be pricey for some ppl. For me I think it's worth the quality. Ohh actually to add one more that I wish it would've been different is the tortilla chips. I love salsa with the chip combo but the chips are too greasy... it literally soak the paper bag with oil. I wish it was...

Today had a strange uncommon experience. Ordered some nachos togo. Unfortunately, the first 3 chips were so stale they were almost rubber. Now, I don't like complaining about my food. In fact normally I just eat right through anything of dissatisfaction and get over it. But these chips were so stale it was like eating a tire covered in beans and meat lol. Reluctantly, I called to let the manager know they might want to take their chips off the shelf so as to not make anyone mad with stale chips.
I spoke with Matt the manager, dude was so nice and understanding that he gave me a fresh order of nachos AND without asking he hooked it up with some extra tacos and a drink for my pops! As a small business myself, I LOVE amazing customer service like that!
10 Stars Mr. Matt! Keep up the...
