I'm going to preface this review by stating that I'm Vietnamese American, born and raised in Orange County, in the heart of Little Saigon. Needless to say, it is really hard to find good Vietnamese restaurants outside of the county.
That being said, I was skeptical to try this place, and I'm glad I did, because trời ơi! People are really missing out. I walked in and could immediately tell that the food was going to be good, based on the Vietnamese drama playing in the background, and Vietnamese music, but wanted to keep my hopes down. Read moreUnfussy family-owned Vietnamese restaurant. Currently open for indoor dining and takeout during covid (no outdoor seating available). It’s nestled in the plaza across of Mt Sac and there’s typically parking available in the shared lot. Bathrooms are available for customer use. Credit cards are accepted for transactions over $10 and they’ll take MasterCard/Visa.
The prices are very reasonable and they have a special as well which includes a medium bowl of pho, spring rolls, choice of drink, and flan for ~$13 + tax. The food is very fresh and tastes just like home cooking. We ordered spring rolls and those came to us fresh from the fryer to our table (so tasty). There are medium and large sizes of the noodle options available - they were super filling and came with plenty of fresh bean sprouts & basil on the side. Unfortunately they ran out of the fresh coconut when we were there, but they do have boba and other drink options. Overall, it’s a nice option for a quick meal whenever you’re craving Vietnamese food and it’s convenient for Walnut locals/Mt...
