90 degrees and the splash pads not working. You would think they would mention that when they check to make sure you made a reservation even though the place is dead AF (likely due to the lack of shade, closed splash pads and disgraceful toilet situation). I love that the playground was designed to consider people of all abilities, but how are you going to label it “inclusive” when it’s lined with portapotties, (which, btw, appear as if they haven’t been emptied since the place opened). My 5 year old started to cry when I opened the door to all of them and realized they were filled to the brim with crap. We had to leave the park after 5 minutes to find a restroom… we also found a really nice playground with a working splash pad right down the road so that worked out well.
Im giving it 2 stars because it’s probably fantastic first thing in the A.M. on a 70 degree day that’s cloudy…. But I do not recommend on a hot, sunny day… atleast not until they open the splash pads and...

There’s also a water play area, but unfortunately, it wasn’t open during our visit. Despite that, it was still a fun outing and a spot worth checking out with kids if you’re in the area.
Parking was...
Read moreAnyone rating this poorly is hilariously badly informed and unwilling to inform themselves. There is a memorial, the splash pad is remaining closed this year due to popularity of the playground, they closed it to Waltham residents only on weekends, and there's plenty of shade (designed specifically to keep people moving and avoid graffiti and destruction we've seen at other parks). I dunno what kind of uber magical childhood these 1 star folks had, but some people are just never happy. This place is amazing and I wish we had it when I...
