If every town had a library like this, the world would be a better place.
It's clean, safe, organized and a lovely spot to pass a few hours. There are tables and chairs for reading and studying, computers for research, and even books for sale. A children's area, books for people of all ages and interests, DVDs, board games, and puzzles.
Beyond the generous selection they offer, there are a ton of events and meetups as well. I spoke with one of the librarians and found out there are tea meetups, cookbook clubs, yoga classes, reading clubs of all sorts, movie nights, reading rewards programs, and more.
This library is a wonderful example of what libraries should be- a resource for learning, a safe place for study, a hub of the community for socializing and building relationships. If you've never been, give it a shot. If you're passing through, stop by. If you live in the area and have a need for a book or two or something more, come on in.
