A quiet place which fascinated me because I remember a number of these telephones while I was, basically aging. I especially remember the Mickey mouse telephone. I visited years ago with my son. He wasn't very interested and I really didn't get a chance to read all the information with the displays. Groupon had a discount ticket for sale, so I thought I would visit again. I'm glad I did. You can download the app and have a self guided tour. Staff was very friendly and Wi-Fi worked well. They had a bathroom which was clean and accessible for people with wheelchairs or mobility issues. Interactive displays were shut down due to covid-19. They even had displays where you would need your QR reader to access more information. They had displays showing the contributions of African Americans to the telephone industry. They currently have a small display about the railroad history around Warner. If you enjoy history and nostalgia, I would recommend a visit. Very young children may not be interested in this. Face mask required to enter building.

This museum is so fun and engaging!! The hands-on room has all kinds of interesting, quirky ways to explore sound waves, Morse code, telephones, etc. (Is it meant for kids? Maybe—but me and my 30-something friends had a great time.) The rooms with vintage phones & artifacts are beautifully laid out and explained with witty, fascinating captions/blurbs.

This museum was fabulous! We used the audio tour app and listened to the information as we went around. Small, not overwhelming but packed with really cool looking phones & old systems. Truely fascinating to see & hear about it all. Plus, there was a little side exhibit about the Railroad history, too. Very nice way to spend a couple of hours :)

Visiting the New Hampshire Telephone Museum is an absolute delight for anyone interested in the history of telecommunications. The museum offers a fascinating journey through time, showcasing an impressive collection of telephones and related artifacts.

One of the standout aspects of the museum is the exceptional program director, Graham Gifford. Graham’s extensive knowledge of telephone history is truly remarkable. She has an incredible ability to bring the exhibits to life with her engaging storytelling, making complex historical details accessible and interesting to all visitors - particularly our group of senior citizens from White Birch Center in Henniker. Whether you’re a history buff or just curious, Graham’s presentations are both informative and captivating.

Moreover, Graham’s warm and welcoming nature made our visit special. She goes above and beyond to ensure that each guest feels valued and included. Her passion for the subject matter is evident, and her enthusiasm is infectious. It’s clear that she genuinely enjoys sharing her knowledge and interacting with visitors, which greatly enhances the overall experience.

In summary, the New Hampshire Telephone Museum is a must-visit, and Graham Gifford’s rare dedication and expertise significantly contribute to its charm and educational value.

Highly recommended!

Excellent museum. Totally fascinating. When you consider the timeline of Alexander Bell inventing the phone and where we are today, it's mind-blowing. This unassuming telephone museum in little Warner NH has an extensive collection of telephones & I personally think these phones would easily be forgotten, and in fact not known to our younger generations, if not for this museum & others like it. The wonderful, extremely helpful women manning the helm were priceless. We brought my 10 year old nephew & it just so happened that the museum was offering a "scavenger hunt" for the younger visitors & that was the real highlight for him (and if I'm being honest, the adults enjoyed it almost as much as the 10 year old!) Anyway, if you are looking for something with definitive historical preservation, loads of information you never knew, numerous interesting displays & a reprieve from a hot summer day, a rainy spring day, a cool autumn day or a snowy winter day, this is an ideal place to spend a couple hours whether you need an excuse or not! Please help support this local historical venue & take your family for an educational adventure down the...
