RJs Tree — Attraction in Warren Township

They planted trees for me that died within 4 months. When I notified Johnathan (owner) about it, he wasn't happy to replace them as he had said he would if anything was to go wrong. After spending a few grand on trees that died after a few months I wasn't going to spend another dime on them. He delivered cheaper trees than I had originally purchased. They than piled up the trees on my front yard for 4 days until I called and asked when they were getting planted. They came the next day to plant them and noticed they only planted 14 when I originally paid for 16. He asked us for money for replanting, which I than said I wasn't giving him anything as I already paid for the planting and trees originally. It is not my fault that the trees died, especially after asking how to maintain them, which we did just that. Also, he replaced them with cheaper trees and shorted me 2 trees. If anything he owes me $$. He than started to be rude and unprofessional and it wasn't the first rude encounter I had with him at this point. But was always respectful to my husband. Although the first time it happened he opologized as said he was having a bad day. This is not how you treat customers especially women. I will never do business with this Co. again. All other companies guarantee their trees for at least 1 year and here I am arguing with a company in which planted trees that died in 4 months in which were notified right away. By the way, the trees they replanted are dying once again. I had asked to plant with topsoil but did not, came in, did a quick job, put them in, threw some dirt on top half of the roots are still out and done they were. Way to go RJS!! Well it happened. You never think it will happen to you but then it does ! The furnace started failing and it was and I only had maybe a day's worth of firewood. Temperatures were forecasted to be in the 20's over the next several days. I called John and he shows up the next morning with a full cord of solid hardwoods. This is the second time I have used RJS for firewood and both times I was very pleased. John keeps a truck loaded for emergencies and that's pretty smart. This time my full cord of 770 (yes I do count) ready to burn pieces included mostly oak, some cherry, ash and maple. That is a generous full cord imho. Good stuff. Thanks again John for...

I had RJs come out to give me an estimate to remove some very large tree trunks/branches. They showed up on time for the job and even finished early. What was a major worry each time a storm comes thru is now resolved. The team were clearly all pros and when they were gone you wouldn't even know they were there except for the missing menacing dead trees. Highly recommended, Jon & Jorge know their trees and all their recommendations were spot-on. Will continue to use them for future tree maintenance needs!
