Casa Romero Mexican Grill 2 — Restaurant in Warren Township

This is one of my favorite local restaurants! I love the atmosphere. Love to go with my family or even on lunch/dinner dates. The waiter, Alex, is TOP KNOTCH! 10/10 customer service that makes the experience that much better. My go to dish is the ranchero steak and their chicken soup. So delish. I also recommend their chicken chimichanga, their hongos borrachos, and camarones al ajillo. Their new owners have upgraded the taste of their food compared to the previous owners. This review is for the former restaurant, NOT Casa Romero! We have not tried Casa Romero! We love this restaurant!! We've ordered via GrubHub four times since they opened, and every order was delicious! The menu is exactly the same as Casa Maya, Jose's Mexican Cantina, and the now-closed Hacienda. This one is far superior to the others regarding the quantity and quality of the food. The carnitas are by far our favorite meal, as well as the Camerones al Ajillo appetizer (Shrimp in chili oil served with bread). We've had the burritos, and they were also delicious. We don't have one complaint about...

Tried this place two times so far. Definitely going back more often. The food is great and staff is friendly and accommodating. First time, last minute decision for my family and i to go here to eat. There was 18 of us. The staff did a great job setting up plenty of space and they were very quick. Drinks, appetizers, and meals were in front of us with perfect timing and no one had complaints. If you get a chance to go, try the mushroom appetizer or the shrimp appetizers.......
