I have dealt with this business for several and always had good experiences. Lately however, the owner has become increasingly testy. On 8-27-18, I was in a rollover car accident which totaled my old vehicle. I had the Pioneer DVD Player I bought from Crossover pulled out of the car and desire to put it in my new vehicle. I took the DVD player to Abe, the owner, for testing. He quoted me $10.00 to Bench it, which I felt was more than fair. I left the Machine with him. I went back the next day and Abe said he'd been too busy and didn't get to it. Okay, I can live with that. So I went back the following day, late in the afternoon, and asked Abe what he learned. He said he'd been extremely busy all day and couldn't get to it. I then said..."I gave it to you almost three Business Days ago", to which Abe replied: "Well, you can take it back if you want!" THIS IS HOW YOU GAIN CUSTOMER GOODWILL! GOOD GOD! From this experience, it TRULY felt that Abe was more concerned about his newer Big Monied customers, and a 64 year old semi-retired tech with Aspergers who wants his DVD player checked for $10.00 is not worth his precious time. People can bash me all they want-they can support Abe all they want, as I ONCE did. Abe can be as "annoyed at me for this post as he wants. But the truth is the truth. I have a small business of my own, and I would NEVER treat a client the way Abe just treated me! The person who hires me for a $10.00 job is JUST as important to me and will receive the same respect and consideration as the person who hires me for a $1,000.00 JOB! I'm VERY disappointed at this change in Abe's behavior, but if Abe thinks I am going to take this abuse because he's the only shop in this area, he has another thing coming! People think that because I suffer from High-Functioning Autism that I am stupid and will rollover and not stand up for myself or my rights-WRONG!
As we have full coverage insurance on our cars, Farmers will reimburse us for the testing, and if the unit was destroyed in the accident, will pay for a full replacement. In addition, I was planning to add some additional upgrades to the new truck. Abe, by his crappy treatment of me just cheated HIMSELF out of a $1.000.00 Plus sale! I will ALSO be going to Beaverton for...
Read moreAvoid this place! Charged my dad $240 to install Pioneer radio in E250. After my parents received the invoice we noticed he charged $150 for a Pioneer DEH3900BT. Thats a very low end radio that retails for $75-90 at other stores. Hes doubling his money on them & selling it as if its a high grade product. When I talked to him today he told me that Pioneer says retail is $150. After looking it up on Pioneer website they retail it for $90. So he's taking advantage of people that don't know any better or get confused by all the different car stereo products out there. Car toys also sells it for $90, plus $50 for install & about $30 for the install kit. So this guy is about $70 higher than going to Beaverton. Worst thing is he lies to make it sound like hes selling a product worth $150. Its a small town & word gets around fast about this crooked crap. I certainly hope he thinks his outrageous markup is worth his reputation. I'm a local business that has very deep roots around here. I can smell out this jerks bullshit from miles away. I really don't like being lied to. He better make this right before I spread the...
Read moreTo start this review off, I had taken a car of mine into this business last year to have a sub installed. Didn't have any issues with this install, so when I bought a new car I decided to have the same person install my sub into my new vehicle. I called 2 months prior to my appointment date and let him know everything I had bought for the install, to which everything was fine on his end. Cut to today, my appointment date. I pull in and within 5 minutes of talking, he can magically not do my install due to my amp kit being 8G (which I told him brand and kit size in the call). I dont live in Oregon, and he was wanting me to reorder the amp kit and then come back. Nope. I looked past the fact that all of the connections were not tightened down and charging someone 3 to 4 hundred dollars just to bring in their own supplies.
I'm here to warn you, if you dont verify everything youre entire day could be wasted like mine. Ill gladly go to a local stereo shop and refuse to give money to such an unprofessional...
