Where do we even begin with Aldrich Mansion? Our wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale, and Aldrich Mansion played a huge role in making it the absolute best day of our lives. From the moment we first set foot on the property, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our love. It is, without a doubt, the most stunning wedding venue we could have ever imagined—and we truly believe it’s the best wedding venue to ever exist.
First off, the location is simply breathtaking. Nestled on the edge of Narragansett Bay, the mansion offers an unparalleled combination of old-world charm and natural beauty. The lush grounds, the manicured gardens, and the sweeping views of the water created a backdrop that was nothing short of magical. Whether we were taking our photos on the grand staircase, exchanging vows in the chapel, or dancing the night away in the ballroom, every moment felt like it came straight out of a dream.
But what really sets Aldrich Mansion apart is the level of care and attention they put into every detail. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was flawless. From the first meeting with their team to the last goodbye at the end of the night, we felt completely taken care of. Every member of the staff was professional, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. They worked seamlessly with our vendors, made sure our timeline ran smoothly, and were always there with a smile to help with anything we needed.
The mansion itself is a masterpiece. The historic architecture is stunning—whether you’re walking through the elegant hallways, entering the grand ballroom, or taking in the view from the terrace, it’s a place that exudes sophistication and timeless beauty. The interior spaces are beautifully maintained, with chandeliers, intricate woodwork, and luxurious details that gave our wedding an air of grandeur while still feeling warm and intimate.
What’s even more incredible is how well Aldrich Mansion blends its historic charm with modern amenities. The reception area was spacious yet cozy, and the food was out of this world! We still get compliments from our guests about how delicious the meals were. Every bite was as spectacular as the surroundings, and the variety of options made sure there was something for everyone.
We were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding without stress because we knew Aldrich Mansion had everything under control. The seamless flow of the day, the attentive service, and the sheer beauty of the venue made us feel like royalty. Our guests were just as blown away as we were, many of them telling us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended.
If you are looking for a wedding venue that will give you a day full of magic, elegance, and memories you’ll cherish forever, Aldrich Mansion is the only place to be. It is, hands down, the best wedding venue to ever exist, and we will be forever grateful for the incredible experience they gave us. Thank you, Aldrich Mansion, for making our wedding day everything we could have ever dreamed...
Read more10 stars! There are too many wonderful things to say about the stunning Aldrich Mansion and everyone who works there. My husband and I saw this place for the first time a year ago, shortly after getting engaged. It was one and done! The opulent beauty of this historic mansion and the grounds will take your breath away. It is so romantic, elegant and simply stunning. The Aldrich was extra perfect for us because of the GORGEOUS Chapel right on the grounds (the property is owned by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence). When we toured with Tony, the event coordinator, we were sold right away. Tony is the most pleasant and professional person you could ever hope to work with when planning your wedding. He guided us through each step of planning and answered all of our questions along the way. Chef Al was the same! It was such a delight to meet with him at the food tasting and our planning meeting. He gave us some great advice! The food! The passed hors d'oeuvres were delicious and a huge hit! The beef was so choice and the chicken so tender. I have to mention that literally EVERYTHING we tried at the food tasting was impeccable in quality, taste and portion and these qualities carried over in our wedding day meals as well. Chef Al and his crew are culinary rockstars! Our guests are still raving about it all. One of many unique features is of an Aldrich wedding is the incredible dessert room (tarts, cakes, pies, bananas foster etc.) in the gorgeous library. We opted to have this and our guests were stunned and excited! It was so much fun to have a surprise for everyone. Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, a dream come true! Amanda, our day-of coordinator, was magic! She was so kind and helpful and lightning fast, getting us tea/water/wine, anything we wished while we took our pictures. She coordinated the flow of the day beautifully. My husband and I and our party had our own space upstairs to place our things (phones, extra shoes, etc), get dressed, freshen up and have a few moments to ourselves between photos and intros. All of the staff were pleasant, helpful, quick and professional; a well-oiled machine built for the most wonderful, top-notch event experience you can imagine. We are so grateful to each and every one of them for making our special day so awesome! We're already hoping to have an anniversary party there down the road! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone at the...
Read moreAM is a very cool place for a wedding. There is plenty of parking and it has an amazing view. The church has stadium seating (something I have never seen before). It is perfect for a wedding, as every guest gets an great view of the bridal party and the bride. Food was very good, but the steak portions are a bit small. Deserts were fantastic. We had 146 guests. The venue is split into several rooms. Plenty of room for the guests, but I did hear from at least a couple of them that were in the room away from the bar that they were in the "B" room". Plenty of room for dancing between the two main rooms. We had a band and this venue is probably better set up for a DJ. Staff are friendly and well prepared. Stacy was our "day of / on site" planner and she did an amazing job. Bar set up is a bit weird as you pay for the bartenders and bring your own beer, wine and alcohol. This is a big money saver, but at the end of the night you had to be prepared to take back everything that was left over, and after seven hours on site that was a bit of a pain. The bartenders do offer to get the alcohol for you and then take care of what is left over at the end of the night. We did not choose this options, but I wish we had. I would have preferred to give this review 3 1/2 stars but google does not let you do have stars. My reasons for not 5 stars: 1.) The property is dated and clearly could use some TLC. 2.) The ladies room was out of order for most of the night., so guests had to use the single handicap bathroom. This is clearly not ideal with so many women attending the event. 3.) The structure of the rooms make it hard to have all of the guests engaged. As the father of the bride, I was exhausted at the end of the night just walking from one room to the next visiting with our guests. 4.) The location is a bit of a ride from the closest hotels for out of area guests (15 minutes without traffic. With traffic it can be as much as half an hour.) 5.) Lastly, I just felt very rushed at the end of the night. It is understandable that the staff want to go home, but for what we paid and what was going on, I felt a lot like Cinderella but instead of mid-night it was at 11:00. Maybe we should have started an hour earlier. My daughter and (now) son -in -law loved the entire experience, and in the end I guess that is all...
