Run, don't walk to have your wedding at Harbor Lights! We wanted an ocean view with a clean, modern feel that wouldn't break the bank and we knew Harbor Lights was the one as soon as we got there. From the beautiful views to the bright ballroom area, this venue has a lot of bang for its buck. We loved working with Maxine and her team, they were seasoned pros who know weddings and made things so much easier than we anticipated! Unfortunately on the day of our wedding, it down poured. One of the deciding factors in finding our venue was having a rain back-up plan that was foolproof. Without hesitation, Maxine and her team did everything in their power to make the ballroom look stunning and then flipped the room seamlessly for our reception. Maxine and team also took all our very modest decor and decorated the guest tables, welcome table, sweetheart table, dessert table and more to absolute perfection! The venue truly had it all from chiavari chairs, catering packages, golf, and more. The food was very good and we were even able to bring our own dessert from a favorite bakery! The servers were wonderful, especially Sarah, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We also loved the wedding party suites that gave our groomsmen and bridesmaids a private place to store things and for us to sneak away and have some time to ourselves during the night. Although we didn't have the waterfront ceremony of our dreams, we still couldn't imagine a better wedding venue. Thank you to all of the staff at...

The wedding we went to was beautiful! But couples - if you do one thing, pleaseeee ask for a tasting of your food before your wedding day. It was terribleeee as a guest. I think it had something to do with the ongoing sale of the property. I needed a gluten free dish and for some reason they thought that meant vegetarian? So I got no protein with my meal and this is what I got: a mound of undercooked steamed, dry white rice (not seasoned, no sauce), with a few pieces of undercooked steamed, dry vegetables on top (zucchini, carrot, green bean). No salt or anything. I couldn't even believe it. And it wasn't just me either, the beef "tenderloin" my husband got looked like it was legit microwaved. It was sliced very thin, was like a grayish brown and bone dry with the same undercooked vegetables and a little mashed potato (which was actually not terrible). It looked like dog food and I'm not even exaggerating. They had gravy boats on the tables because I think they knew it was unacceptable and they didn't really care, just assumed everyone could douse it with gravy to make it edible. Zero effort. I really hope our friends did not pay a high price per plate because it was a sad excuse for a dinner. I'm not sure what is going on with the new owners but people pay so much for weddings, please do better by your couples and...

I had over $2,000 of my personal belongings stolen from this wedding venue during my brother's wedding. We were required to leave our belongings in the Bridal Suite because it would be "secure", but this was the room my property was stolen from. The venue has not accepted responsibility, never called me back, and the police had to visit them three separate times to request security footage. The venue has an insurance plan that would cover this loss, but they won't help me. The Director of Operations, Michelle, is extremely rude. Just look at her replies to the reviews below mine (if she doesn't delete them.)

I requested a vegetarian meal and was not given one. I asked if there was any bread I could eat in lieu of steak because I am a vegetarian, and the waiter said she would check and never returned. I did not get dinner.

When the bridal party arrived to the venue, the wedding coordinator the venue provided was not present. The bride was almost seen by the groom in her wedding dress because the wedding coordinator wasn't there to tell us where to walk.

This wedding was so bad that I don't think I want a wedding of my own someday. I'd rather elope than put my family and friends through an...

I went there to visit some friends who were up from Florida. We got some drinks at the outdoor restaurant and bar called Par&Tackle. To start, the view is absolutely amazing. Looking out into the cove with the sun setting was absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant is right next to the golf course, but they have safety netting so no one is at risk. The bartenders there were really great, friendly, and didn't miss a beat. Even with the 20+ people at the bar, they knew my refill order without me even asking. They only had 4 beers on tap, all local brews, but it was fine for me. I did not order any food, but I looked over the menu. The food choices looked great, but is pretty pricey, although it is a country club so it wasn't surprising. My friend ordered one of their pizzas and said it was extremely good. I only gave it four stars because the restaurant is hard to find. It is behind the clubhouse, not visible from the parking lot. There is also no clear signs telling you where to go. Also, while not entirely their fault, we were getting eaten alive by bugs. It would have been better if they had tiki torches or something else to drive the bugs away.

We went to the Par and Tackle to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary for dinner and we had a wonderful time. Lydia was a great server and helped us without any hesitation to our menu questions. The chowder was thick and creamy, and the Chicken skin chips with artichokes were amazing ( I've never liked artichokes until now ). The herb crusted sirloin was cooked perfectly, the salmon was very tasty but I found it a bit dry and tough to chew. For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse cake and it was INCREDIBLE. Our neice is having her wedding reception in the Dining Event Area and I'm sure she won't be disappointed. ( Hope she picks the chocolate mousse cake)

Tried out the Harbor Lights golf course and it was great overall! It was a 9 hole course (we played 18 total). The staff we encountered were all friendly and welcoming. The views here, wow. As shown by the pictures you get a phenomenal view of the Marina while playing at certain holes and just a great atmosphere all around. No outside drinks or coolers are allowed which I personally don’t agree with, but it didn’t hinder the experience. The course is player friendly regardless of skill and if you aren’t waiting for anyone in front of you, you will finish the course at a fairly quick speed. Strongly recommend trying this place out at least once!
