This morning, I had the pleasure of encountering a truly kind-hearted young man at the park. His name was Egan, and he worked as a park ranger. The sun was shining brightly, and I thought it would be the perfect day for a peaceful picnic. After preparing a lovely spread, I made my way to the park with a basket full of goodies. However, in my excitement, I managed to trip slightly and sent my basket tumbling to the ground, scattering all my snacks.
Just as I was about to despair, Egan appeared from around the corner, as if by magic. His easy smile and gentle demeanor instantly put me at ease. Without hesitation, he rushed over, carefully gathering my fallen treats while balancing a few himself. His kindness caught me off guard, and I couldn’t help but admire the way he handled the situation with such grace.
Once he had returned everything to my basket, he even took the time to set it up on my blanket, ensuring I was comfortable before wishing me a pleasant day. Before he left, I insisted on offering him one of the sandwiches I had made for my picnic. He accepted it with a grateful smile and a quick wave before going on with his duties.
It’s not every day you meet someone so considerate, and I hope his supervisor knows what a gem they have in him. I certainly won’t forget that day, thanks to Egan simple act...
Read moreThe young buck that I met this morning at Goddard park was an absolute saint. His name was Egan and he was one of the park rangers. I decided that this morning was a great day for a picnic due to the amazing weather. So I cooked up some food and went to Goddard to enjoy the good weather. As I was walking to my blanket I dropped my hard boiled eggs on the dirt road. I was very upset before one of the ranger trucks pulled up to me. This young man stepped out like an angel from heaven and ran over to pick up hard boiled eggs because my hand were full with the rest of the food. I was so surprised and delighted to see him running over with his beautiful locks frothing in the wind. He held my hard boiled eggs and carried them to my blanket. He set them down and told me to have a great day. As he started to walk back to his truck my heart fluttered before I called him over. One he turned around I handed him an egg salad sandwich that I made for me picnic. He took it with extreme gratitude and went on with his day. Wonderful to see such a beautiful young buck so polite and kind hearted. What an amazing experience at Goddard today. He did not give me his last name but if a manager out there sees this he definitely deserves a raise for his kind...
Read moreAm an outdoor guide and love this park. Great biking in the trails, just be aware of the horses and yield when they come by. Awesome to have seen them swim in the water too. There is a boat launch and a nice beach. Actually saw filming of housewives of RI there last week. Great place to swim especially in low tide. You can watch boats coming out of East Greenwich, while planes take off from across the bay. Incredible sunsets! Best in town. Life Gaurds on duty during summer. Recommend the walking trail to Sally Rock to get to the remote beach for some grounding and tranquility. Bonus! You can take horses for trail rides overlooking the bay and walking on the beach. The park gets a lot of different people there and sometimes they play their music a little loud, but usually it’s not an issue. Also I am part of a windsurfing group and it’s fun to watch or even try if you have not done so. We kayak here all the time going to remote cool places to explore. Love the dog...
