Review by a Mt Laurel resident. Bought a new car in the area last week, and recently drove by the park. Thought it would be a great idea to enjoy a beautiful day in this park with my dog, since it is Jersey's largest municipal park. Wrong decision since this park doesnt allow dogs, and their dog park requires non-residents to apply for a dog permit in their dog run. Mount Laurel and neighboring towns by me doesn't require that. They only require an up to date dog license, no fees and registration with the township. In addition, the township's park map on their website is out-dated. See attachment to this review. Per the attached map, I walked around the park, and went towards the dog park to find it overly grown and closed. We actually didn't find out that the park is not dog friendly and about the small dog friendly section of the park until an employee in a 4-wheeler informed us that the park is not dog friendly and the park rangers will give out tickets and pointer us to the smaller side of the park. Never heard of a large municipal park where it doesn't allow dogs, and where only a small section of the park allows dogs. Hope Washington Township will reconsider the dog ordinances. Will not be attending this park again, and hope the township will clean up their old abandoned dog park, create a new map on...

Town Fair & Food Trucks. Still one of the largest, cleanest and overall well-maintained city-owned municipal parks I've ever been to. They have endless options to take advantage of. Basketball courts, Tennis Courts, Baseball Fields, Football Fields, a Full Size Arena-Style Ampitheater with unlimited grass seating, and two smaller theater-athle stages, all to hold significant music crowds. Always a good time. As for the town Fair, I took my younger daughter, we walked through the long line of different food trucks, trying to decide how we are gonna eat all of these different foods, and still be able to walk back to the car. They also had many different craft tables, specialty clothing tables, local business vendors, and seating & tables set up for the public to sit down and eat. I was a little surprised with the $14 admittance fee, but as long as that goes to the township, it's worth it. This is my third year doing the township fair, and it gets better each year so far, (which doesn't happen much anymore). It takes about 2 hours to see everything there. Mark it on next year's calendar, you won't be...

I'm big on energy. I feel people's energy really hard, so I assume there are other people out there just like me who feel things really hard (meaning people's moods whether they're stressed out, sad or they're vibrating high and happy and giving off positive vibes), so I like to make sure my energy is always pure and keep myself vibrating high by being my most authentic self for those other empathic ppl who can also pick up on energy ..if I happen to ever be in another one's presents this way they will feel my good energy and it'll help keep them vibrating high. So going to the park is a thing I like to do to just be one with the Earth and be around trees and walk barefoot and grass, which is a good thing to do to ground yourself if you've got a klot of anxious ENERGY p that you want to get rid of. I like to do this to just spend some time with myself for about a half hour to an hour hi Vince if you're working on yourself and trying to heal and just stay in a present state of mine I highly suggest taking some time out to...

Washington Lake Park - It's like a "Diamond in the ruff" or a " Needle in the haystack". Our journey to the Park was a SPECTACULAR VENTURE. The park displayed multiple trails, walking paths, picnic areas, a pond, a lake and multiple "sport fields" which are available for playing basketball, football, soccer, hockey etc.,. It is a "refreshing enviroment" that was impressively clean and in this era - admission was FREE and parking was FREE. The people in the park are cordial and very friendly. The most important faucet in the park is that " you feel safe". The park is also built for young and old. We noticed a "concert area" for special guests and concerts - held for the public. I would highly recommend a visit to Washington Lake Park for a fun day.

Beautiful park, wish they’d cut back some of the trees that grew in front of the Koi pond. You used to be able to see the entire pond from the gazebo. A few more gazebos throughout the park would be nice. I got to see the new fishing pier at Cedar pond pictured below which was metal, not wood, and less pleasing. Approaching the serene pond there is a culvert under the narrow wooded path with a steady stream of water flowing. The gentle brook sound was very soothing. There weren’t any bicycles available the day I went. You have to be careful crossing the road, especially the crossing near the tennis courts. While they do have speed humps in places, cars tend to drive fast.
