Reclaimed Michigan — Attraction in Waterford Township

For many years now my wife and I have thought about having a barn beam mantel in our home. We found out about Michigan reclaimed on Facebook and they had many very positive reviews. This past Saturday we stopped at their shop in Waterford and spoke with Tracy, she was incredibly knowledgeable and we were very happy when she sold us and already finished Barn beam mantel for our fireplace. Tracy was able to very accurately describe to us how to mount the mantle and gave us some advice that made the job quite a bit easier.

We are very proud to have our barn beam mantle hanging in our home. Tracy was the person who finished the beam herself and she did a beautiful excellent job on it. Tracy was able to tell us that the beam came from a barn that was built approximately 1880 in Deckerville Michigan.

This guys (and gals!) are the bomb! I love going in here for various projects, the lay out of the store/shop is easy to navigate and browse. The staff are incredible and the product (via any of their lumbar selection or extras) is sincerely amazing. The bonus is the customer service. On my last visit I bought a nice piece of finished wood for more of a crafty project. I asked if they would mind sawing it in half for me - not only did they do that - the gentlemen added some stain to the ends of both pieces to keep both pieces looking consistent and finished...I was pleasantly surprised and so happy when he brought it out!
