Starbucks — Restaurant in Waterford Township

I always order a head and go through the drive-thru so I never have to go inside. Especially when I'm working. I ordered a head like at least 20 minutes if not more. When I got up to the ordering window, they told me they were still working on it. No problem at all. I understand they're busy and I don't mind waiting a few minutes. However when I pulled to the window, they gave me my food and said my drink hasn't even been made yet. Again, it's no big deal I understand they're busy. I'd like to remind you that I have put in this order now, almost 30 minutes prior. I think they were trying to find my order but could not find it. I was then told to come inside. This is what put me off. Why should I have to inconvenience myself and come inside when the whole point of me ordering ahead was so I didn't have to. I feel like I should have been accommodated and they should have been making my drink as soon as they realize they lost it. I don't understand why I would have to go to the back of the line and go inside. The very thing that I order ahead to avoid. They ended up actually finding it, they just kept overlooking it. My main issue was that I was expected to come inside and be inconvenienced. Oh, and my drink wasn't even made right. I always get sweet cream and almond milk so it can taper down the coffee taste especially when I add expresso. My drink was so dark it didn't even look like they added the sweet cream or the almond milk to my drink at all. I get this...

I've been going here since I was about 12, around 1999. The location, parking, amenities, and policies are pretty good here. Many times, I've learned the names of staff members as I spent many hours on my laptop many days. The staff rotates, and the management has a corporate feel, but usually the baristas and cashiers are wonderful. The reasons I took off a star are first because it's been 4 years since I've been able to get my free birthday drink that I look forward to every year. It's the most painful part of my birthday, because I would rather spend time with family than go out for free stuff, but they stopped honoring it when you don't arrive that day. So it's painful going in and asking just to realize they are going to think I'm lying. Even though my account proves I'm not.... But despite the coupon being digital and tracked, Starbucks deletes the offer at 3 or 4am the following morning. It used to be that you could get it the week of. And staff could show some trust for regulars like other more rural locations probably do. It was a big reason why Starbucks was a lovely neighborhood, non-corporate place to be. But now it only cares about money. I still paid for my drink and tipped, but it felt like just a transaction with a bureaucracy from another State, which technically it is. The other reason was that a bathroom door lock was weird for a long time, might still be. Can't really tell if it's locked or not by...

First, the store has been relocated to one of the worst spots to get in & out of on M-59. Second, I ordered ahead of time, but when I went in to get my Order they had a cup I've been wanting so I went to the Register to pay and right after I get there one of the machine malfunctions. There were at least 4 Employees just standing there staring at the one Employee trying to fix whatever broke. I stood at the Register a good 3-5 minutes watching the Employees watch the broken machine and FINALLY someone came over to help me. Because of the standing around staring at this broken machine like watching it is going to magically fix it, they got behind on orders so I had to wait another 5 minutes for the rest of my order. When I got it there was no vanilla cream cold foam on top that I ordered & there was no extra whipped cream on my Frappucinno I ordered. I didn't want to wait even longer so I let the whipped cream go but asked for the cold foam since that was something simple they could fix easily. Very disappointed in the Service here, I rarely go to this location & probably won't return. Usually I would rather write a good review than a bad one, but I was utterly annoyed that I was completely ignored for so long while 4 people were...
