This is one of Waterford's best kept secrets. Even if you have been there during your school years, it is worth taking another look. The interior is constantly being improved and changed. Highlighting the French and Indian War, this little museum is a real gem!

The museum is very informative and interesting. The staff is very knowledgeable, and makes the history come to life. My 8 year old daughter loves the museum, which has instilled in her a love of learning more history.

It's an excellent place to go you'll learn a lot about the history of Fort LaBeouf and Waterford area. We Halo have a lot of Greek history here this is in fact where George Washington came as a representative from Britain and we have a statue rate by Sugar and Spice which commemorates his visit and he is wearing a British uniform as he was serving in the British army. He came to tell the French that this was English territory and they had to leave basically but the history behind it is really awesome very Historical Area and definitely worth coming to see visit and just take part in this community even though it's small people here really love where we live and our school system is the best in...

Absolutely fascinating museum, covering an often overlooked, critical period in American history, the French and Indian wars. Jim Edward's, one of the curators, is a wealth of information, a former period re-enactor, a Vietnam veteran, and extremely dedicated to preserving the history of the area. Firearms enthusiasts will enjoy the collection of muskets, pistols, horns, and supplies of the era. Uniforms, outfits, and day to day items round out a glimpse into a society with tremendous political, military, and daily survival...

If you are a history buff of early American history, especially of the French and Indian Wars, you have to go to this museum. My wife and I visited this museum last weekend and I was very impressed with it. It is small but packed with interesting items. Jim is the man you want to see when you go there. He is very knowledgeable and operates the museum. This is the best history museum I have ever been in. I wish I lived closer because I would there...
