Waterford Hotel — Restaurant in Waterford

I don’t say this lightly , the worst meal I have had in my entire life at a restaurant, and I’ve traveled around the world and eaten at some pretty sketchy places. I ordered baked rigatoni , it didn’t have rigatoni in it ! How the heck do you call a dish baked rigatoni without putting rigatoni in it ?? .. also it had like hot dogs in the overly sweet red sauce , beyond terrible, my wife ordered some kind of thing with pierogies and pulled pork. It was super obvious the pulled pork had sat in the warmer waaay too Long, it had caramelized almost to the point of being black and the pierogis were the mrs t’s frozen variety, serving that at a restaurant is pretty embarrassing I’ve gotta say. The pizza we chose to split was under cooked with a shell that was so unbelievably Porous and soggy it was damn near inedible. Honestly the owner shoukd be ashamed of allowing food like that to be served. we left all our food barely touched and will NEVER go back. Our waitress was good and an attentive so I have nothing bad to say about the service. She was sweet did her job well and even said she didn’t understand why the baked rigatoni had no rigatoni either. But holy cow the food was beyond terrible. Idk if we happened in on an off night , but it turned me off from this...

The waitress was nice, but slow. The food was a bit disappointing. My fish was bland. They exchanged it for a burger that took 45 minutes to cook. My daughter had the beef tips and noodles and asked for the mushrooms and onions to be on the side. They were mixed in. My mom's steak was cooked correctly and very small. Though it worked well for her as she eats small portions. When we asked why the burger was taking so long we were informed that other peoples orders were ahead of ours and we were placed in rotation of the time and behind them. We paid our bill with the 3.99 percent fee for using the credit card and left. When I arrived home the burger was overcooked and did not have the bacon on I asked for. I must say that the burger was still juicy and not dry. This restaurant is 30 minutes away from us. Other restaurants on the same block are far better. When we travel that way again we will likely visit those...

This was our first time eating here so I can't be too critical. The food was OK. Really good french and onion soup though and I thought decent portions. I think what was lacking was the service aspect. On the "light and something" part of the menu, you have the choice of an entree, salad or soup, dinner roll and potatoe. She gets her soup and entree. Out waitress doesn't come back until we were almost finished eating to ask us if everything came out fine or if we needed anything. When we asked where the dinner roll and potatoe were she said we aren't doing potatoes. No dinner rolls because of covid. Would have been nice to know that before we ordered. And the paper menus were made because of covid... Why is dinner roll an option? Confusing. Not to mention a service fee for using a credit card? I can drive 2 miles down the road and get a $4 icecream from shivers, with a card, no service...
