When I came to this place originally, I was impressed with the variety of produce that they carried. They assured me that everything in their store is theirs and was raised and grown following organic practices. So I did my shopping and bought few fruits and salmon. However when I was getting ready to cook my fish the next day, I noticed the writings on the packaging which read that the fish was packaged in China!!! and the expiration date was 2018!!! I was in shock! I contact the owner who told me it was a mistake but I didn’t believe because one of the apples that I bought in that same place still had a sticker on it!!! And the sticker on fruits and veggies tells us a lot - a 4 digit code means the fruit was conventionally raised and grown with pesticides and chemicals in nutrient depleted soil. When a 5 digit code (starting with the number 9) means your fruit is certified organic. The sticker on my apple had 4 digits. Draw your own conclusions people, I...

We had a wonderful experience at Milk & Honey. Emily's pumpkin, carmel, cinnamon rolls were HUGE and delicious. The chili is some of the best I've ever had. The meat is sold in generous sizes. Our son loves the sour cherry jam so much that he asked me to buy four more jars. We got so many different things there and can't wait to try them all. Andrew and Emily have such a wealth of knowledge that they are so willing to share. The CBD gum and mints have helped control my chronic pain. It was pouring rain and cold when we visited, but they still showed us all the beautiful animals they have. This place really is more than a store - it's a destination! Keep up the...

Milk and Honey not only have the best in class food and products but also the people. Emily, Andrew, and their team are always there to greet you with a smile and to guide you to some fabulous fresh food. The best part is how they make you feel part of their home. My niece absolutely loves visiting them. She has learned so much about animals and farm life. The memories we have made with them are cherished. Please support your local farms and businesses! I will always recommend Milk and Honey (Emily and Andrew). Thanks for sharing the farm with us!!!

Had a crazy afternoon and ended up at this beautiful farm in Wauconda! They have a nice little shop with farm fresh items, honey, homemade canned goods, CBD items, etc. I bought some strawberry jalapeno preserves that I like to put on crackers and my cheeseburgers! But the best part was meeting all their pet animals. A sweet volunteer named Lisa showed me all around. You can bring your kids and grandkids to visit and interact with the animals. I fell in love with this big black goat named Boomer! Highly recommend visiting this farm!

Adorable farmstead, would most definitely recommend stopping by and giving it a look. Sooo many goodies including cheese curds, baaaaacon, chickens, fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs and more. Also a variety of different salsas, and pickled items. Overall a great local place to visit.
