Beautiful Park. The Frame Formal Gardens are really lovely even on a cold November morning. There's a creek and a river the usual Wildlife geese and the usual birds that don't migrate. I also caught a little video and some photos of a river rat I have to confirm because I'm not sure if it isn't one of those new species that are kind of invading but I'm pretty sure it was a river rat it was lovely cleaning itself. A highlight; In 1997 they excavated the old Hobo Springs that was established in the 1880s and had long been covered over. That hotish spring is back again and it's very life-affirming. There's also the Born Learning Trail and little park and a rotary building. This park has it all, a wonderful place to visit for all but great for very young children cuz it isn't very big so it's doable for any adventurous toddler, plus the a wildlife, water, a playground park and more!

The walk along the river here is such a nice walk when the weather is right. Bathrooms are probably the cleanest public park bathroom we've ever been in. The fact the toilet actually has a seat and the sink ISN'T metal was a shock and surprisingly, it smelled fresh in there. There's a bit of history on the natural spring located here. Water is clear and there were fishy in the water. Ducks populate the side of the river. Towards the end of our walk was a waterfall which was really cool to see. Plenty of seating towards the waterfall and we took that opportunity to just sit and enjoy the scenery. It also has separate trails for bikers so a big plus. The only takeaway was the amount of poop lying around the park but given the amount of ducks in that park, it only makes sense.

Such a large, picturesque park with a beautiful garden attached. It has picnic areas, covered shelters, a park for the kids to play in, boats you can rent, fishing spots, restrooms that can be used, walkways and bike trails, volleyball nets and even an amphitheater! There is a soccer field attached to it but I believe that maybe closed off to the people visiting the park. It is free to enter this park. With the Fox river running parallel to the walking trail at Frame park, it is always refreshing to take a nice long, peaceful walk here.

Well, the park was neat and clean, however, all that beautiful water is just sitting there completely choked with weeds. All that water could be used for fishing or watercraft rentals or even a little toe dipping. I dont know if this kinda large river front is not maintained because of the lack of workers or if it's always like that. Waukesha is missing out on an avenue of revenue from tourists and locals alike if they could use the water. There could be income from fishing, boat and canoe or kayak rentals, maybe a little snack bar and even a fenced off spot for dogs to be unleashed to run around with their dog buddies. Come on Waukesha, clean up the water some so we can use it, with income from these mentioned things you probably could turn a little profit for your town, then write less parking tickets!!!...

Amazing. Stopped by when driving threw on my trip back to IL. This is just such an amazing park. Great walking paths, park benches, pinic area and so much more. There is also a public restroom and water fountain; it is not the best, but better than not having one or a portapotty. The playground is a great size. There is a rather large one for older kids and a smaller one for the little kids. By the little kids area is a sand pit for the kids to play in. There are also a decent amount of swings, both the little kids and bigger kids sizes. The playground is also fenced in on almost all sides, just the entrance area is not fenced in. For the adults there is plenty of seating with some tree cover on some of the benches so your not in direct sunlight. Hope all this info helps, I definitely recommend this...
