The walk along the river here is such a nice walk when the weather is right. Bathrooms are probably the cleanest public park bathroom we've ever been in. The fact the toilet actually has a seat and the sink ISN'T metal was a shock and surprisingly, it smelled fresh in there. There's a bit of history on the natural spring located here. Water is clear and there were fishy in the water. Ducks populate the side of the river. Towards the end of our walk was a waterfall which was really cool to see. Plenty of seating towards the waterfall and we took that opportunity to just sit and enjoy the scenery. It also has separate trails for bikers so a big plus. The only takeaway was the amount of poop lying around the park but given the amount of ducks in that park, it only makes sense.

A beautifully peaceful garden tucked into a multi use park along the Fox River. The garden was stunning considering the October date. I was PleinAir Painting during mid afternoon. Several people including groups toured the garden while there. Both days several girls were getting senior photos taken. Everyone that passed was pleasant. Had a few wonderful conversations. The care taker was there both days tending to the plants. A true Waukesha treasure.

Very well keep facilities and landscaping. The paths around the river are very nice to walk, and the fountains near the dam are aesthetically pleasing. The abundant resident ducks are cute too. :) Paddle boats and a variety of bikes are available for rent ($15, I believe for a flamingo paddle boat). Be careful with the paddle boats, though. I saw a couple get stuck in the mucky floating plants and they had to paddle like mad to get out...

Gorgeous gardens. Clean volleyball courts. All inclusive playground with beautiful views of the river. Abundant wild life. Trains come by frequently, so it may get loud. There are scattered pavilions to enjoy shelter whether you're eating, or need to be protected from inclement weather. Restrooms are available along the paths. Great place to take family pictures, graduation pictures, and all other kinds of photo shoots.

What a gem of a pocket garden. Just an idyllic scene right by the Fox River
