Historic Courthouse 1893 — Attraction in Waukesha

My husband and I recently held our wedding with Chef Jack's at The Historic Courthouse 1893 and I CANNOT recommend them enough! The day was an absolute dream thanks to the wonderful staff at Chef Jack's. Throughout the whole planning process, they were friendly, professional, flexible and responsive. They answered all questions I had and made everything so much easier on me. It was clear Chef Jack's knew how to throw events! They brought so much experience and knowledge to help me plan the perfect day while still accommodating my wants.

When it then came to the wedding day, the coordinators just handled everything! I heard from numerous people how the bride and groom (but especially the bride) don't actually enjoy their wedding day with all the running around. That could not be less true for me thanks to Chef Jack's! They handled setup, all day of coordination, problem solving, tear down, just everything! Even got us plates of food so we could eat while people came up to us! I can't tell you how thankful I am that I got to actually LOVE my wedding because of Chef Jack's. No worrying about moving decor, getting the late-night snack at a certain time, vendor management, or anything. I got to just drink and dance with my loved ones it was absolutely magical! We got SO much praise about the space, the food, the atmosphere, the party! The groom's suite was of course a huge hit! And if you're worried about locking in a caterer with the venue, don't! The food was nothing short of one of the best meals I've ever had. We did the European stations and people raved about it!

Falling right in line with all the other reviews you will read here - Eric & Lisa and Team are AHH-mazing. Their attention to detail and flexibility to work with you to make your dream wedding happen is no joke. They help navigate every detail with you without the cost of a wedding planner needed! The venue is already so beautiful with the décor that is there can also save money on the additional décor you might need to purchase to make a room look full like at other places. The food is soo good and was commented on by so many of our guests that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The staff is amazing down to the detail with remembering you ex. I love rumaki appetizers and the staff was sure to come be and ensure I was getting to eat the food I paid for to eat and enjoy. Seriously cannot say enough good things. Chef Jack's has quite the name in the business and it's easy to see why - every vendor we spoke with loves them and likes working with them. This venue specifically is also neat because you can rent out the Museum connected to it for cocktail hour or to help keep guests occupied like we did to help save on shuttle costs; it's unique and quite affordable to do! The suites/ rooms for getting ready are classic and thoughtful also for getting ready. We had a very large group for our wedding of 8 on each side and it was nice to have the makeup room and and groomsmen suites so equipped and spacious to handle everyone and provide great spots for pictures - another added bonus! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. My now wife and I held our wedding here this past weekend and it could not have gone better. The building itself is absolutely beautiful, well kept, and rich with history. Eric and Nicollette were PHENOMENAL in pulling off what turned out to be one of the best days of our lives, and were very nice to work with every step of the way. They are extremely accommodating and had everything planned to a T. Their staff is top notch and literally everything went as perfect as it could possibly go. The areas where the bridal party and groomsmen get ready/hang out were super cool and a lot of fun. The food from Chef Jacks was also amazing and our guests are still talking about it. We toured at least 5 other venues within a 20 mile radius and this is by far the best venue in Waukesha. Our only concern was the parking scenario which was not an issue at all (we had 175 guests and we did have a shuttle from the hotel, but there was still plenty of ample parking and signage for those who drove).
