This park provides a short hike uphill for two lookouts to the Delaware river and Lambertville/New Hope. Allegedly George Washington used one of these lookups during the Revolutionary War to see if the opposition could find boats hidden behind a then existing island. There are a couple other unmarked trails available for use as well. The parking lot was recently expanded, but I expect it will be competitive at peak times.
