Goat Hill Overlook is an absolute gem! This scenic view point offers a breathtaking view of a meandering Delaware river. The experience here deserves nothing less than a five-star rating.

Upon arriving, I was instantly captivated by the natural beauty that unfolded before my eyes. The view from the overlook was simply mesmerizing, with the tranquil river winding through the picturesque scenery. It felt like stepping into a postcard-perfect setting.

The short hike to reach the viewpoint was a refreshing and invigorating experience. The trail was well-maintained, making it accessible for visitors of all ages. As I walked along, I was surrounded by the refreshing sights and sounds of nature, providing a peaceful escape from the bustling city life.

The small picnic table/area at Goat Hill Overlook was a delightful surprise. It provided a perfect setting for families and friends to gather and enjoy a leisurely meal amidst the stunning backdrop.

One of the highlights of my visit was witnessing the vibrant foliage in its full glory. During the autumn season, the surrounding trees transformed into a kaleidoscope of colors, painting the landscape with hues of red, orange, and gold. It was a truly magical sight and added an extra layer of beauty to the already stunning view.

The overall experience at Goat Hill Overlook was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of the breathtaking view, the refreshing hike, the family-friendly picnic area, and the seasonal foliage created a memorable and enchanting outing. Whether you are a nature enthusiast, a photography lover, or simply seeking tranquility, this hidden gem is a must-visit destination. Make sure to bring your camera and be prepared to be awed by the captivating beauty...

I'm somewhat hesitant to review because part of the appeal of this spot is the clandestine feel, but it's too beautiful not to share. If you're looking for a place to watch the sunset in Central Jersey, this is the best view I've seen anywhere. There is a tiny parking lot and from there a 10-12 minute walk to the overlook. You can see the entire town of New Hope and beyond reflecting in the Delaware River as the sun sets over PA. If you arrive early enough there are one or two picnic tables, otherwise bring a blanket or we were actually comfortable just sitting on the grass. Local tip, there's a policeman who usually patrols the lot and they try to make sure people leave before dark. As soon as the sun is partially set, consider starting to walk back, otherwise you might need to...

Parking is definitely tricky since there are limited spots, and the road to the parking lot can be treacherous due to pot holes (drive very slowly), but the view of New Hope/Lambertville is stunning. Look up the walking paths beforehand as there aren’t many signs or trail guides along the way. If you want to get to the main overlook area head towards the right after you enter from the gate area. There is a shortcut through the mountains which can be steep for some (first right after the gate), or you can take the main path and take a hard right at the fork/bend. Bring a snack to enjoy at the picnic tables (don’t forget to take your trash with you when you leave!) or a blanket to sit on the grass while you...
