Bainbridge / Koser Park Access
Access point for the Susquehanna River Water Trail
The Bainbridge / Koser Park Access is part of the Susquehanna River Water Trail – Lower Section. This section of water trail is 53 miles long and offers a tremendous diversity of natural and industrial scenery. The Bainbridge Access adjoins to the park and is the southern trailhead for the Conoy Canal Park Trail, along with connecting to the North West Lancaster County River Trail.
The water trail map and guide, interpretive panels, and web site were developed and are managed by Susquehanna Heritage. The trail is designated as a National Recreation Trail.

Read moreThe White Cliffs of Conoy, very cool! Trail is paved but close to two miles to the cliffs. Porta potties in the beginning and near the cliffs. Picnic area also. Lots of cool old ruins. I went on a nice January day and it was fairly busy. Lot of cyclists on the trail, most were polite and let you know they were behind you. My Waze app kept taking me to the first entrance which is private and gated. You have to go to Kosher park. Follow Race street. There is a parking lot which I think fills up quickly...
Read moreDefinitely a place with lots of bikers. Great place for a long walk or run, but be aware of how popular it is for bike riders. Too many of them give no indication they are coming up on you. I bike too and realize bikers need to be considerate of those walking to be safe. Some neat stretches that allow Great views of the river. So much is paved.
