West Melbourne Community Park — Attraction in West Melbourne

We were otw back from a cruise coming up from Ft Lauderdale back to Jacksonville with our two sons (4 yrs and 18 mos) and wanted to stop somewhere halfway up to get their wiggles out and stretch their legs. Really awesome park. Facilities were clean and looked well-maintained, including the restrooms which are right by the playground. Playground was split into 2 age groups for younger and older kids, which was nice for our boys. Lots of shaded picnic tables. Water fountain in the playground also had a water sprayer/mister. So awesome they have a cafe and ice cream shop on the premises but unfortunately they were closed when we were there— I think the sign said they are only open on weekends and it was Monday. It looked like there was a lot more to the whole park but we knew we weren’t going to be there very long so we didn’t get a chance to explore much. At Craft Show at Event at this park . I had a Craft show and There was very awful bad windy weather and all my Craft handmade flew all over the place and No other Vendor did Not care to helped me with my things fell off the table . No one Don't care to helped . I was so upset crying because I feel my handmade was going to be ruin the craft show this event . This park city Melbourne don't care about my things been flew away with very bad windy weather . Table was on grass and in the grass field it was very open and cause bad wind flying all my crafts things flying every where and it's was awful day for me and I had to leave because I could not contiune having my craft so flying away with bad wind. I was Not Happy how the city park had No one to came and did not care about my things all over place . All other vendor did not helped me with my things fly away wind . I am about to be 30 yrs old and I feel you hwat...I love this place lol granted I take my kids to enjoy themselves but dad has more fun and wants to stay longer than they do usually. The water area is absolutely perfect for hot days you don't feel like doing the whole pool scene and having to worry about your babies drowning. And it doubles up with a massive in fence park area where the little demons can run and play till they pass out literally because there's a massive gazebo to let them lay under. Triple fun is your a BMX or skateboarder because there's a freaking skate park attached as well. I've spent whole work shifts here with the kids before. Almost forgot they also have a kids/adult size basketball hoops,soccer field,and mini golf area! Hands down my favorite place...
