West Melbourne Skatepark — Attraction in West Melbourne

First of all, I would have given this Park five stars because it's really good if not for the crap info online. I came here last year and wanted to run back through. I was here earlier last year so I didn't have this problem. I drove from almost an hour away because it says they close at 10 and I got out of my car at 9 PM and they turned the lights off. Not gonna lie, this is a nice park and skate park but the maintenance man or whatever he was that you had working there today was the most rudest, hateful, lying man I have ever came across. The way he spoke to us in front of my children was so disrespectful and on top of that to call the cops on a 10 & a 1 year-old for running around the skate park was even more disrespectful. My son loves it!! As an ex-skater myself, i understand the etiquette thats needed here and therefore, my son does as well. From one parent to all the other parents that go here, take the time to talk to some of the older kids here and LEARN what etiquette you should be passing on to your kids. Especially if your child has a scooter or a bike. This is for your safety, your childs safety and everyone else involved. With that said, walk around the park. Not in it!!! #cutting...
