Nielsen Community Center — Attraction in West Point

I can't rave enough about this beautiful venue. If you at all are thinking about holding your event here, I say do it! First you will have the most amazing person taking care of every single detail every step of the way. There is something to be said for working with a nice person. Chris will go above and beyond for you. We needed an event space last minute due to a cancelation of our venue. He was willing to work at all hours to help make our day perfect. When we saw the place, were were shocked. It is so modern, beautiful and well put together. It has everything you need. Lighting, bar, stage if you wanted, gorgeous tall ceilings, modern clean bathrooms, cell phone centers for guests, I could go on. Dont hesitate if you are wondering about this space. ...

This city park is in West Point Ne. Name Is a lil dissiveing. The trees here look ancient and really give the park some awesome shade because they are so big. (Some of the last cottonwood of ne) nice landscaping and beautiful baseball park. This area holds a really nice family event on this weekend. (Usually Aug. 10th) There is a huge tractor pull here that caters to ppl from different areas of the country!!! Demo derby, fair rides and cool venders like myself sometimes frequent this event. I like the animal exibite this year!!! Very well organized event with alot of very good community activities going on. Mainly a baseball tournament and a cool parade. I was attending a reception at the Nielsen Center and had car trouble in a cold rain! Nicole Fisher was working at the event! She was a lifesaver!
