A very short 500-foot walk to the overlook along a paved path making it a nice easy walk with breathtaking views of the stunning 132-foot Tower Falls. The full trail is 1.2-mile round-trip and is both paved and unpaved after reaching the overlook. The trail then becomes a moderate hike with switchbacks down the mountain for several hundred feet. However, you will not be able to hike down to the river only to a landing overlooking the Yellowstone River.
