Pioneer Memorial Park — Attraction in Westfield

This is a very well designed park, with a LOT going on. Shelters, playground, basketball court, two baseball diamonds both with electronic scoreboards, a splash pad, shooting range, a nice hiking trail, disc golf, and has plenty of parking and seating. I'm very impressed with it, and surprised more people weren't there. There were birds, deer, and butterflies, and the bugs weren't too bad (you still may want bug spray if you hike the trail). What an absolutely gorgeous park! Be aware this is NOT a dog park. Signs are prominently posted as such. There is an amazingly well kept artesian well free for public use! People fill up jugs all the time. Just don't take up the whole thing and let everyone have a turn! The country out this way is pretty darn...
