Freedom Hall (Pinederosa Park) — Attraction in Westlake

Recently, I have been jogging, biking, and using the splash pad about 4-5 times a week. Yes, I have visited this park off and on for the past 15 years. I can honestly say the community has made some great upgrades. The quarter mile soft track is great on my knees. My husband loves the weight/ strength training area. There are three new cute children play areas with swings, climbing, seesaws, and more. Two rentable areas for Party’s, BBQs, and Crawfish Boil that include: Covered Party area with fenced in BBQ pit, tables, water, and restroom. There are many smaller covered tables or 2 larger covered area with tables for bigger party, first come first serve. Please arrive early on the day of your party to set up because this is a very busy park. The dog area in the back right corner there is no fence running area and pine trees. I would love to see this area grow. Thing that my dog likes to do is play in water sprinklers, a small pool to cool off on the hot summer days. When the park is slow, I love to bring Daisy to play on the children splash pad. The one thing the park could work on would be the restrooms by the splash pad. The restrooms are gross! It is very hot, unsanitary, wet floor, empty soap/paper towels dispensers, full trash cans, and more. This is how the bathrooms have been for years.

To the Freedome Hall Building…. Destruction of property because yall didn’t even call and asked if we wanted or needed any of the stuff because that was all of my personal belongings. I rented it the whole weekend for wedding and didn’t have to turn the key in until Monday..My guest book, my mom’s picture who had passed and her reserved seats sign were trashed plus much more that was important. They told me I had all today to go back to clean up and so we went this morning and it was all trashed and gone. Definitely don’t recommend this place if you plan on losing all of your belongings like I did. Y’all are horrible for that! Will be...
