Update March 2025: this been having constant issues I just dealt with it for a while. But here we are March 2024 with the same issues I was having in Dec. the connection is never good… during the night times don’t expect a smooth movie night. U gonna experience the most issues. I work from home and as I speak to the tech right now as I write this review im only getting 0.1 upload when I should be getting 50. I just don’t want to miss work no more… imagine having to take a loan out because u couldn’t get your full pay due to connection issues. :’( Pete was helping but has become unresponsive.
Update: my complaint finally reached the right person Mr. Pete. He had someone watching my line to see what the issue was during the night causing me not to work. I am only giving them three stars because of their customer service is great. I can’t give anymore then that simply because they did make me lose out on my Christmas bonus which means no Christmas for my kids this year. But my issue is now fixed. Just complain enough and it will finally reach someone that actually looks a sees the actual issues.
Update: Dec 2024. here it is the holidays & no internet. Suppose to work all weekend but couldnt because internet down. I am being told I have to deal with it because it’s cold outside. So your telling me if its cold outside I cant work!!! Please I beg of you if you are renting or buying a home and this is the only internet provider RUN!!!! Do not I repeat do not go with this internet company. I cant find anywhere as nice or cheap as the home I have now or I would be gone!!! This company has costed me a whole paycheck because I cant work until the sun comes up! Worst internet I have ever have. Here it is 5 am 12/03/2024 just had a tech out yesterday and was told to deal with it. I am sitting at my computer with no internet trying to get my hotspot to work so I can work and not miss any more hours smh. Picture provided. I pay for 1 gb so tell me how is my internet working just fine when I am suppose to get 60 mb upload??? I can say without a doubt Vyve Broadband customer service is spot on. After having some issue with my service they sent out one of the nicest,respectful, and most experienced technician you could ask for.
Peter Scimemi ( Tech #10B ) knows his job. You can tell he definitely prides himself on his craftsmanship. They don’t make ones like this much more these days.
He arrived and verified the problem we were having and immediately resolved the issue. You would have thought that would have been it, but nope, Pete took the time and looked over the install and noticed some other things that also needed to be addressed. None of which would have effected my service, it was more of an aesthetics standpoint. He made sure that installation was clean and neatly dressed up to Vyve’s standards.
I must say as a retired phone guy within the same field I was more than impressed with his work. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me that he took the time to look over the entire installation from the pole to my modem. He could have simply came to my house fixed my problem and left. But he took the extra time to make sure everything was done the right way.
Pete, I can’t thank you enough for resolving our issue.
People like this is why we will continue to use Vyve Broadband for our internet service. Your people are your brand, the more companies that figure this out the more customers they will see.

Read moreWhere to start with Vyve... First let me say the Internet portion of my service was good. I have no real complaints there. It was fast and reliable. The cable portion of my service was far too expensive for a service that worked (sometimes), offered a very limited selection of channels & seemed to always be losing stations (including local channels) instead of gaining them. In addition it is a service incapable of doing all the features I have grown to love with my current provider. All this being said, my experience with their customer service, particularly the Westlake office, was hands down the worst experience I have had in a very long time. The office is never open when they say they are. Apparently, they are allowed to come and go as they see fit and definitely do not have the customers needs and service in mind. When I called the toll free number (twice in one week) to complain that the office says they are open but no workers are present after driving to the office from a neighboring town, they informed me that they have been hearing these complaints for months from many different people. When I finally did get face time with an employee she was less than friendly and inefficient at her job.
