Burbank Park — Attraction in Westminster

I tried to bring my dog to the dog park there. The instant we got in the gate, I had at least 2 very large dogs run at us and scared my dog and before I could let go of his leash got jerked down and slid on the ground. This caused a large gash in my leg that required 14 stitches. I am still waiting to remove those. Once on the ground, I couldn't get up at first because the dogs kept jumping all over me. My friend there had to run them off and help me back up. As soon as I saw white flesh all I could think was to get to the hospital. I never was able to find the owners, so now I'm stuck injured because people weren't watching their dogs or if nothing else at least provided an apology and ask if I needed any help. BREC literally laughed at me when I called and told them what happened and they said I was taking a risk when I went and how they don't have any part of it. I understand they say go at your own risk, but you also expect people to be watching their dogs and for BREC to be a bit more caring. We probably will not be returning after our horrible experience. Beautiful new well lit place. Parking lot is gravel so it gets shuffled around a lot but they look to be keepinv it neat. Also, unaware if there are consessions sold on saturday game days. No signs or information on that when your at the field your team is playing at. Garbage cans everywhere, place is very clean and well kept, but park rule signs are only at the pavillion and are kind of small to read. Fishing pond is grrat.
