Nice museum of working mill. Ground corn wile we visited on a Saturday. The wheel no longer turns because it is buried in sand, but this mill was upgraded to turbine as were most grist mills do to many hundred percent efficiency gains.

Fascinating mill and house. The house was once the town pub with a parlor room for women on one side and ballroom upstairs. The mill has had a number of lives from lumber to grain. Though they were closed for the season, our car club called ahead and their volunteers met us and opened up for tours. Their knowledge was extensive and they made it so fun. Many thanks for all...
