The park in general is a very nice family oriented park. During the winter the sled hill and ice skating pond are fun for an afternoon with the family. Warm up in the warming house when you get too cold. In the warmer months you can play tennis, the courts are soft with dead spots, but if you're just out to have fun it works. Fishing is allowed. I believe it is catch and release and the last time I heard they stock the pond. There are boat ramps for small canoes or kayaks. The paths are great for walkers, joggers and bikes. The playground is full of kids, most not being supervised by any adults so if you have small children you might prefer a smaller park. There are basketball courts a baseball diamond and bocce ball area to use. There are bathrooms available, on the west side of the pond near the warming house. Northside pool is located inside the park. The aquatic center has a fabulous kiddy pool. There is plenty of parking available also.
