Peking Chinese Food — Restaurant in Wheaton

Okay let me start by saying the food is really good and it's fairly priced. Whenever we order Chinese food we always order from here but lately every time we order delivery time is absolutely ridiculous. Tonight I placed an online order at 6:16 p.m. and didn't receive my food till 8:06 p.m.. When I place my online order it said it would take 30 to 45 minutes for my food to arrive after about almost an hour I called Peking to find out what was happening with my food. When the phone was answered it was answered by a young guy who you can tell had no idea what was going on and had no authority to say anything but I'm sorry and your food is being prepared and that they had a big order I guess prior to mine which I can understand but almost 2 hours to get my food! Now if you order food and it's taking that long I would expect possibly a phone call from the place letting me know that it's going to take almost 2 hours to get my food now it's after 8 and my nine-year-old son is eating dinner later than expected and has school tomorrow and has to go to bed late cause he is eating late. Not to mention when I did get the food it wasn't really hot it was warm and this place is only 5 minutes from me. Going to start checking out other Chinese food places in the area.... maybe somewhere else around will appreciate when people order a...

Restaurant was the dirtiest, filthiest restaurant over ever seen, and I’m from the city of Chicago. There was dirt and dust/ cob webs caked everywhere in dining area and in the kitchen ( at the bottom and around the beverage cooler, corners of walls, floors, ceilings, and doors. I thought a roach was going to come out at any moment. Both mom and daughter scratched upper lip right underneath nose and proceeded to package food and wrap Togo orders. The daughter even scratched her scalp and then opened an empty rice box to scoop steamed rice into it. Neither of them washed their hands and the daughter spent her entire time on her phone (phones are nasty- people take their phones in the restroom). This place needs a really really good deep clean, and maybe a citation from the health department. Before my food was done, I asked for my money back and left...

My boyfriend and me got really sick immediately after eating here! I also even had a neighbor that had told me they got sick from here apparently! It took 1 day for my bf to get better and it took update: almost now a week for me, I'm unable to eat solids and had to get medication, I was fine till I ate here! I've eaten at many Chinese restaurants even in China town and we've never gotten sick. My boyfriend is in the food industry which he's a former manager of 12 years and currently a sous chef and he believes with no doubt it was food poisoning. With him it just took a whole day for his stomach to get right but it hit me worse. Maybe food regulations, washing hand aren't important here I'm not sure and I am not the type to lie on a place ever but the fact that I especially am still not back to normal since I've eaten here...
