This place is very well taken care of and is a great picnic spot. There is a park bench next to a small creek to the right of the parking lot. The signs are all very nice, clean, and informative. The bathroom is very clean and tidy. I highly recommend stopping by here-even if it is just for lunch.

Beautiful view, well maintained trail. You share trail with mountain bikers. Most of the trail is a hike up. Great view near and at top of trail.

They have done some recent work to this trail and it made it a great hike/run. I love how far you can go on this trail. Fun spot.

Nice trailhead that is easy to get to. Parked here and biked the road up to Big Mtn TR. Took that trail back down to this one. Fun flows with some peddling in between. Great day, the only downer was people allowing their off-leash dogs to wander around cluelessly, causing a bit of a traffic jam both on the trail and in the lot. Reading the signs and obeying them would probably do a lot of...

Easy hike. Enjoyed the peace & quiet. Did not encounter any wildlife. Just a few birds. Hiking boots not necessary, but a shoe with decent tread is. Regardless, of my hike, I suggest carrying bear spray. Can be rented at airport or at Apgar, the gateway to Glacier National Park. Worth...
