Cravath Lakefront Park — Attraction in Whitewater

This is a very nicely manicured park, and a very scerene place to sit on a bench and enjoy the views. There's a pretty new looking visitor's center that was closed for the night when I visited, but looked very nice. They also had a really nice patio attached. There's a bonfire pit that overlooks the lake, too.

There's a walking trail along the lake, but it dead-ends on a dock by the visitor's center. I'm not sure how far back along the lake it goes, but next time I'm in, I'll be checking it out.

There were a handful of people there fishing, so I assume there must be some kind of fish worth catching. Other than that, it was a very quiet and...

Really very pretty park with gazebos and open buildings , brick walls and stairways and well placed foliage that make this park a little magical ! But then the venders and a small weekend Farmers markets make that more interesting , however, the River Looks more like a bog or swamp than to bad there isn't a nice open flowing River , why I have only 4 stars , cool little old historic nice size town and this beautiful Park make this a really cool place , they should clear out the River and open...

Definitely beautiful but the timeline of Spring 2021 for lake reestablishment has not been met. It will be good to see the removal of the invasive species AND return of what seems to be a unique Walworth County gem. Here's to it's future after much history making. 😉 February 2022 a...
