We had always wanted to try this place while in Whitney. We stopped in during Pioneer Day festival. We were greeted and offered the current wine list. We wanted to “taste” the wine so we choose the pick 4 wine tasting from the menu. We were poured about 3 sips of each wine. We are red wine drinkers so we steered away from the whites. The first red taste like vinegar and had a horrible smell. The second was not much better. We forced the 3rd & 4th. This was $15. Read moreI had the Ultimate pleasure of meeting the owners of this winery yesterday at Texas Winos. I got to sample their Peachy Keen wine, along with the Moscato Margaritas cocktail (10/10). Although the wine was amazing, what stood out to me was their kindness. My hands were full from my other wine purchases and he (I’m so sorry I don’t remember your name) got me a box… since my hands were full I dropped a bottle I purchased from another vendor and it shattered. In Whitney we have found a small winery that not only has the most friendly atmosphere but the greatest wine made here only with Texas grades.
