Lake Whitney Arts — Attraction in Whitney

Small town theater arts, great place for the youth in town to get that "I'm a star" feeling. Helps bring out the confidence in our kids. It's not just for the kids either, many adult shows. Great fun and lots of laughs. It's certainly a fun way to spend an evening or weekend afternoon. Not doing the same old stuff in a small town with few choices of activities. Need that different idea with lots of fun? By a ticket to a show. You won't be disappointed. However, they need to work on a bigger stage and audience area with maybe tiered seating so the ones in back of the front seats don't have big heads...

The latest play, "A Christmas Carol" is a brilliant adaption by Stacey Greenawalt. Rusty Cook as Ebenezer Scrooge is, in my opinion, on equal with George C Scott in the movie. The whole cast was remarkable and on par with any larger production. Kayley Myers also was exceptional as The Ghost of Christmas Past. Don't miss future...
