Rodriguez Fashions — Attraction in Wichita

I went to Rodriguez's Fashions on a Saturday afternoon. Friends recommended the store, saying that they had shawls or wraps that could possibly match my dress that I was wearing for my son's wedding. I saw a picture of my coworker's daughter with one that she bought from Rodriguez's. A man was at the front of the store. He asked, "can I help you?". I said I would like to look for a wrap or shawl for my dress. I even gestured with my hands what I was looking for. He said, 'we don't sell those things here". I knew he was lying but I said "oh?" and I thanked him and left. I was very disappointed, irritated and sad. It's been a long time since I've been treated like my money was no good because of the color of my skin. With people like this man (owner, store clerk), we, as a nation, will never progress; we will never get to a point where we are judged by the content of our character instead of being judged by the color...

Melissa helped me so much, she was quite devoted on finding me a dress with the short time frame to my event. I love the dress and it's really everything I could have wanted!!!

I'm updating this review just to add pictures of the beautiful wedding dress I bought from them!! They also offered free steaming of my dress before the wedding date, and it came with an amazing petticoat! The dress itself was FULL of layers and tulle and covered in sparkles!! I also purchased my wedding tiara from them as well, which was had those beautiful aurora borealis gems I was looking for! The dress, including tax and everything, was a little over $1000. WHICH IS AMAZING GIVEN HOW...

I went in there today to find my homecoming dress and all i can say is WOW. The younger lady in there was a tramendous help! I’m a bigger girl and she directed me to dresses that would work for me and was super helpful with finding the right size for me. There’s a TON of options in there! For once i had too many options to choose from. Also, VERY reasonably priced. I was expecting to pay over $180 for a dress and mine only cost $130 which is what you would find at Dillard’s or JC Penney’s. I was very pleased with my experience here and i will definitely be going back for winter...
