Not impressed. It has zero shade on the beach except a couple small canvas covered picnic tables. No greenery. The water is green, full of algae, and murky and it's $17/person (10 and up) to go on the water park. The sand is soft for about a foot and then turns to small stones. You can stay near the beach and not hit the big rocks on the bottom....but not by much. We made a sandcastle at least. The pond is definitely a pond. There's nothing to see if you kayak or swim here either so... Just super underwhelming. Never coming back. But it's well kept as of now so I'm giving it the...
Read moreI haven't been to Willard Bay for many years because the mosquitos were so bad. I don't know if they'd be out when it cools off but there were none while we were there in the middle of the day.
We only went to the new pond at Willard Bay with my wife and toddler. There were dozens of people paddle boarding and it was perfect for someone trying to do it.
We all had a great time and we will take the 1 hour drive from Salt Lake to do it...
