Imagine More Automation Showroom & Distribution Center — Attraction in Windsor

I had high hopes when I first met with this company, but we have had nothing but problems with them once the install started, and I'm still finding problems. We hired Imagine More to do the low voltage wiring in our new home under construction -- Cat 6, phone, cable, blind prewire, and 4 TV prewires.

The planning stage was fine, and we met during the electrical walkthrough to make sure we were all on the same page. It went downhill from there.

*Despite our best planning efforts, Imagine More installed wiring from the original draft plan. We had two revisions to that draft. I happened to be in the area a few days after they finished and fortunately, I discovered this error before drywall went up.

*The craftsmanship was shoddy with several Cat 6 cables crushed under metal staples.

*Even after they came back to fix the first draft issue, several outlets were installed in the wrong position and had to be moved after drywall was up.

*I did my own networking using the cables I paid them to install. During testing, I discovered that more than 20% of the cables tested bad. Imagine More had to come back and re-terminate a number of cables.

We had four TV prewires installed. I supplied one media box for the bedroom and they supplied three Strong media boxes for the other TVs. While doing my own hookups in those boxes, I discovered that every installation violated the manufacturer's directions and more importantly, two violated the National Electric Code.

Imagine More has come back several times to fix what they should have done right in the first place. They repaired one media box installation, but in the name of "If you want it done right, do it yourself," I'm going to redo the other two myself.

Imagine More Longmont installed 14 Hunter Douglas cellular shades for us. We were able to get the same style as in our previous house. Some we ordered top down bottom up in order to take advantage of the views of sky n trees while still having privacy. Can feel the difference already with less heat. The team did a great job installing. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly. We use Hunter Douglas Duette Honeycomb Shades, 3/4 LiteRise control system, in C95-955 Desert Sands, Batise Bamboo. One top down/bottom up shade sinks a tiny bit too much when pulled down, due to top inside mechanism from factory. Installers took a video and a replacement will be made. 🙂

I can not say enough about Marvin’s experience with lighting and fan installations and his manner in kind consultation. He found a solution to my lighting and fan concerns. Upon installation, he met additional challenges as my original fan installation was done without a bracket. Marvin installed my new fan safely and also came up with a visually pleasing basket not available for a sloped ceiling and my desired fan.
