Lake Winona — Attraction in Winona

My great grandparents, Walter and Anna nee Schmeltzer Heer, took my great uncles and aunts, including my grandfather, Raymond N Heer and then their kids took the next generation there to teach them to swim, fish, and I assume boat. Great Lake! My husband and I walked around part of the lake today and there was a super nice paved path we could walk on the entire time. Loads of people were ice fishing on the lake and skating.
