Winterset Dog Park — Attraction in Winterset

There is a fence between the small and large dog parks. They are both very well sized for many dogs at a time, and are equipped with water fountains for the dogs as well. There is often a canopy covering the shared entrance but otherwise there's not much shade in either area. The busiest time is in the evening, otherwise you'll probably have the place...

This was the biggest dog park I've ever been to. My only concern was in the little dog area. There is a double gate that is not level with the ground. So little ones could get out. Both sides have obstacles for the dogs...

Great place to take your dog for a day in the sun for a little bit of fun. Maybe throw a Frisbee or ball for awhile. Maybe just to run free and to see other dogs. Either way it's a great time...
