Perfect for family with young children bc the water is not too deep. There are Lifeguards on duty. If you decide last min to go just too cool off, you can always purchase food at their snack area. Pretty big area and plenty of room for everyone. Two downfalls- 1. It’s pretty expensive. It’s $8 pp for out of town. Considering most beaches that are not state beaches charge $20 per car, that means it’s pretty expensive. We paid $40 for our family. I guess you’re better off purchasing the season pass if you have a big family and plan to go a few times before summers end. 2. I went on a Sunday. The people several feet away from us bought a big speaker and played their music sooooo loud. They were pretty inconsiderate of everyone else. Management never stopped by to tell them to put it down. The music was very loud. They charge so much you would think they have people walking the grounds every so often (or driving around in their green little truck) to make sure nothing like this...
