What a great little museum in a wonderful setting. There is a wide variety of artifacts in this collection with great information cards present at each station. Well worth a visit. Also was told by the person on duty that there is a scavenger hunt available for little ones who go there. They are giving a list of things to find within the museum and when they complete the list they are given a prize. Well worth the $5 admission fee.

Two adults visited here on a Saturday in late August 2023 and enjoyed ourselves. There is a little bit of everything in this collection ranging from taxidermied birds and animals, to Native American arrowheads/artifacts to silk hand fans to fossils to old coins and more. We got there only an hour before closing so didn't quite finish looking at everything, but for $5 a person it was worth it. YMMV. Appeared to be some activities for elementary age children and older. Wild animal show was OUTSTANDING...I did not know what to expect but was blown away by the presenter this past wednesday...we are all animal nerds , and everyone of us saw an animal we had never seen in person before AND learnt new things about each one....the presenter was simply amazing...great with the crowd, engaging, fun,, and clear and made the material accessible to EVERY age range...Thank you to Libby for the arrangement and hosting of the series...mark...
