This is a pretty park with a nice dog park. However, there is a clique of local people who have been coming to the dog park for years. They generally come early in the morning on weekends before 9am. Thus, if you’re a newcomer, better to come after 9. The group basically stands in a circle or on the bench talking so they don’t really monitor their dogs - including if they poop. I find it much more pleasant for myself and more fun for my dog to show up after 9am when they are gone. Wood Dale County Park is a great place to walk around if you want to do some exercise. It is a great place to bring kids because it has a playground. Wood Dale County Park also has a dog park which is a wonderful place to bring your pet and give them the space to run around and play with other dogs. Wood Dale Park is a great place to take photos.
